<Educational Story> Krish Hmong, The Zoological Park Organization of Thailand In 2018, ZPOT started The Red-headed Vulture Reintroduction Project with our partners such as the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Kasetsart University, and the Seub Nakhasatien foundation. With the population of 5 Red-headed Vultures left in captivities, 3 males and 1 female In Nakarnratchasima zoo and 1 female in Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The Project's goal is to breed the Vulture and release them into nature. In December 2020 The ZPOT education team create the activities for the Red-headed Vulture Youth Camp for example, "Play picture matching game", this game allows children to learn about amazing vultures' parts by matching the parts with pictures of equipment that best describe each part. For example, the children match the vultures beak picture with piler picture and educators will let the children discuss why these pictures are matched. This game is aimed at the audience to learn fantastic facts about vultures and how important they are to the environment, especially the children that live nearby Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, where the Red-headed vultures once lived.
